*Bathing suits (core of students body must be covered)
* Girls - one piece, tankinis, rash guards, or t-shirt
* Boys - swim trunks/shorts with shirts or rash guards on top
Please send tear free baby shampoo for slip and slide!!

At Bright Adventures students are earning their Leader in Me Lighthouse Status!

Swain High School Principal Sonya Blankenship was recognized by the NCHSAA as one of their Women's Leadership Spotlight


Since the start of the 2023-24 school year the Swain County Schools Foods and Nutrition services have served 100,390 lunches to the students of Swain County Schools!


Students from Mrs McClung's 6th grade class recently finished a book project. This project involved the students actually performing every aspect of the book process. They collaborated on the stories, artwork, layout, all things related to the book. The finished product was a great success. The students and their book were featured by Rex Hodge of WLOS on their Carolina Moment segment of the evening news!
