Parents and caregivers will leave with tools they can use right away at home and as kids head back to school.
Swain County Schools will be closed for students tomorrow, Tuesday, February 3. It will be an Optional Teacher Workday for staff. Staff may communicate with their supervisor regarding the workday and leave.

This delay will allow for better daylight for all drivers and safer travel conditions. We encourage everyone to dress warmly to ensure safety while waiting for buses or traveling to school.
