The Swain County Board of Education will have a special called work session and a special meeting on Friday, March 20, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Swain County Administration Building, 50 Main Street, 3rd Floor Auditorium, Bryson City, NC 28713. At the 2:00 p.m. work session the purpose is for cameras in classroom discussion. At the 3:30 p.m. special meeting the purpose is to discuss the budget proposal that will be presented to the commissioners.
