Notice of Public Hearing
Swain County Schools Board Policy 4060 Native American Policies and Procedures is being reviewed and updated for the 2026-2027 school year. We solicit the community's input during this review process. Our current policy is linked on our website. The proposed updated policy is available at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tcp1kKkgjTzhv_FNxum5-R7SQuNoC4adA1eCsQB1xHo/view . There will be a public hearing to discuss this policy on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 4:45 pm in the Swain County Administration Building, 50 Main St., 3rd Floor Auditorium, Bryson City, NC 28713.
