If you are interested in registering your child for ANY after school program in Swain County Schools, the fastest & easiest way is through our online Google Forms registrations for your child’s after school program.

WAITLIST FOR 23/24 School Year--ALL SITES

https://forms.gle/Neh8R54m7R8WHTCe8

Don’t forget that you are making a commitment that your child will attend afterschool an average of 3 days per week. If you can’t make this commitment, please do not apply.

Please understand that we are working VERY HARD to try and make sure that ALL families who need afterschool care can have it; however, we just do not have the resources to provide afterschool to all of our Swain County Schools students and parents who need the service.

After you complete the online form, you will receive a confirmation email that lets you know that you have registered your student. Afterschool spaces tend to fill up very quickly, especially at the beginning of the school year.

We are scheduling email notifications to be sent on August 11, 2024 to let parents know whether your child has a space in afterschool or not. If your child does not have a space, we have moved her/him to our waitlist automatically, and will contact you if space becomes available.

By registering your student and digitally signing the application, you have indicated that you are aware of the online handbooks that support the afterschool program and our schools, copies of additional required information and regulations that are available, and the attendance requirements for your child to remain in afterschool.

Applications are also available to you in paper form if you would like. You may request a paper application form from the afterschool assistant at your child’s school or request to complete it online at school
