Swain County Middle School Welcomes Rising 6th Grade Families!

Swain County Middle School is excited to welcome our incoming 6th grade students and their families for special family information meetings this summer. These brief, 30-minute sessions are designed to help families prepare for a successful transition to middle school and learn important information about the upcoming school year.

During the meetings, families will have the opportunity to receive key updates, ask questions, and become familiar with expectations and opportunities available to students as they begin their middle school journey.

Meeting dates are available from June 25 through July 8, and appointments can be scheduled by calling the school office Monday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Families are encouraged to reserve a meeting time as soon as possible by calling 828-488-3480. We look forward to partnering with our newest Maroons and helping every student start 6th grade with confidence and success!
