Introduction to Instructional and Assessment Technology Tools–training in the use of some of the technology tools and related reports used in SCS, including STAR, MobyMax, School Net, and others Required during First Year of Employment for all Teachers Offered during Beginning Teacher Orientation; ½ day training; continued with PLC’s and TLC’s at school site throughout year
Reading Foundations- Training developed by NCSIP for understanding how students learn to read Required for all Pre-K – 12 Teachers; recommended in Year 2 or 3 of employment (alternate with Math Foundations) 5 Full Days of Training; Offered one time each year (combination of teacher workdays, student days, and summer days)
