Reading Foundations- Training developed by NCSIP for understanding how students learn to read Required for all Pre-K – 12 Teachers; recommended in Year 2 or 3 of employment (alternate with Math Foundations) 5 Full Days of Training;  Offered one time each year (combination of teacher workdays, student days, and summer days)
Math Foundations- Training developed by NCSIP for learning how students develop conceptual understanding of mathematics Required for all Pre-K – 5 Teachers and Grades 6-12 Math Teachers; recommended in Year 2 or 3 of employment (alternate with Reading Foundations) 5 Full Days of Training;  Offered one time each year (combination of teacher workdays, student days, and summer days)
