Swain County Schools uses automated services like Blackboard Connect to notify parents of important information. Changes to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act now require parents and guardians to “opt in” to receive automated communications on their mobile devices. Students were given a consent form which needs to be completed and returned to your child’s school by Monday, October 3. If we do not receive a form, your phone number will be removed from Blackboard Connect for general messages by October 15. Please note that consent is not required for emergency messages.
